  • After that, turn off the printer and detach it from the power source.
  • The next step is to navigate to the Windows service by following ways;
  • Search for the Windows service and then navigate to the services that are enlisted inside.
  • The other way of reaching the services menu is by pressing the Windows and R buttons together and then type, services.msc in the Run dialog box. After that click OK.
  • Now, look for the services in the enlisted ones and check if you see the ‘Print spooler’ service.
  • Once you notice the ‘print spooler’ service, right-click on it and then tap on the stop tab.
  • Close the service window once you have stopped the print spooler service.
  • The next step is to navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS with the help of Windows Explorer.
  • Now, select all the files in the PRINTERS folder and delete them altogether.
  • The next step involves shutting down the PC device.
  • If the printer was unplugged for approximately 60 seconds then plug it back in.
