  • Select the printer that is causing issues by right-clicking on the same and select the “Remove device” option.
  • Again, hit Windows + R and type “devmgmt.msc”. 
  • Navigate to the option “Print queues”, and right-click the printer.
  • Select the option, “Uninstall device”. 
  • Press Windows + R on your keyboard, and write “appwiz.cpl” in the box that appears, and shoot Enter. 
  • The applications are displayed there.
  • Select the “Uninstall” option by right-clicking on your printer application.
  • Post completion of all the above-mentioned steps, remove the USB cable or detach it from the wireless router. 
  • Turn off the power supply from your computer, printer, and your router. 
  • After waiting for around 10 minutes, plug in everything back.
  • Start with all the modules. 
  • Initially, fit the computer with the printer via USB cable. 
  • Wait for it to recognize and install the obligatory drivers.
  • Navigate back to the control panel, choose the “Set as default printer” option by right-clicking on the system. 
  • Ensure if the problem is solved by trying to print a test page.

  • The installer and driver are automatically run in some cases. When the printer is not seen in the device manager.
  • Ensure the printer works successfully. 
  • Navigate to Microsoft Official Website and download the package “wushowhide.diagcab”.
  • Select the “Next” option and execute the package.
  • Choose the option Hide updates from the option available.
  • Select the printer update and continue. 
  • Windows will not be updated till not accepted by the drivers.
