Step 1: Make sure you

Step 2: Ensure about
the paper quality as it can also affect the printing quality.
- Check
the papers that you are using are appropriate for Laserjet printers.
- Paper
should be soft and smooth, as rough-textured pages can affect the printing
quality.
Step 3: Don’t forget
to check the ink or toner levels in cartridges from the printer’s Control
panel.
- Go
to the Home screen of the printer’s control panel.
- Then,
go to the Left screen by swiping left..
- Select
the option of the Supplies.
- This
will display the toner levels for your cartridges.
- If
the toner levels are low, then replace the cartridge.

Step 4: Make sure
Economode Setting is not on as it does not allow printers to use the

- Select

printer settings or preview screen will open up.
- Select
the name of your printer from the list in the Printer menu.
- Then,
click on the Properties to open the dialog box for printer properties.
- Select
the option of the Paper/Quality from the tab.
- Uncheck
the checkbox for EconoMode in the Print Quality option.
Step 5: Check the
Print Settings while printing the file, and select the Best option for the
Print Quality.
Step 6: Take a
printout as the cleaning page to resolve the issue of the print smearing, or
excessive ink etc.
- On
the home screen of your printer control panel, select the option of Setup.
- Now,
select the option of the Service, and from that, select Cleaning Page.
- Insert
tha paper in the paper tray when prompted.
- Select
the OK button to start the cleaning process.
- Then
try to pitn again to confirm whether the issue is resolved.
Step 7: Ensure that
there is no damage to the toner as the chip damage can lead to poor printing.
